ABSTRACT

Objective@#To investigate the influencing factors for postoperative urinary retention in patients with spinal surgery.@*Methods@#The clinical data of patients with spinal surgery were collected and divided into two groups according to the occurrence of urinary retention (urinary retention group and non occurring urinary retention group). The factors that may affect postoperative urinary retention were compared and multiple factor Logistic regression was used.@*Results@#Among the 292 patients, 56 cases had postoperative urinary retention and the morbidity was 19.18%. Single factor analysis indicated that Univariate analysis showed that there was a statistically significant difference in anesthetic mode, time of indwelling catheter, time of lying in bed, clamping catheter and timing of removal of urinary catheter (χ2=5.035-22.747, P<0.05 or <0.01). Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that the risk factors for urinary retention were time of catheter more than 3 days and bed time is no less than 5 days, and the protective factors were clamping the catheter indwelling training, having a sense of urine and bladder filling.@*Conclusions@#During the period of indwelling catheter can be closed catheter training, grasp the time of indwelling catheter 1-2 d best catheter time. Urinary catheter should be removed when urine is filled and bladder is filled. At the same time, under the premise of ensuring safety, the patient's bed time should be shortened as far as 5 days, and the rate of urinary retention can be reduced.

ABSTRACT

Objective To observe the effects of the bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) on the expression of neurotrophic factor protein gene in the retinal detachment (RD) rabbits. Methods 60 healthy rabbits were randomly divided into control group (group A),retinal detachment with PBS group (group B),retinal detachment with BMSCs group (group C),20 rabbits in each group.RD model were established for rabbits in group B and C.10 μl PBS was injected into the subretinal space of rabbits in group B,while 10 μl CM-Dil labeled BMSC PBS was injected into subretinal space of rabbits in group C.The rabbits in the group A received no treatment. At 1,2 and 4 weeks after modeling, the mRNA expression of basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF),brain derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) and ciliary neurotrophic factor (CNTF) were measured by real-time quantitative PCR.Results At 1,2 and 4 weeks after modeling, the mRNA expression of bFGF,BDNF,CNTF on retinal tissue were increased significantly in group C as compared with group A and B (P<0.01).At 1 week after modeling, the mRNA expression of bFGF and CNTF on retinal tissue were increased significantly in group B as compared with group A,the mRNA expression of BDNF on retinal tissue in group B was similar with group C.At 2 and 4 weeks after modeling, the mRNA expression of bFGF,BDNF,CNTF were decreased in group B as compared with group A.Conclusion Subretinal transplantation of BMSC can increase the mRNA expression of bFGF,BDNF and CNTF on retinal tissue in RD rabbits.

ABSTRACT

In this article, HPLC fingerprint analysis method for total flavonoids from pollen of Brassica campestris L.was established., The HPLC fingerprint was performed on Waters C18 column (250 mm × 4.6 mm, 5 μm), eluted gradiently with the mixture of acetonitrile and 0.4% phosphoric acid aqueous solution at a flow rate of 0.8 mL·min-1. The column temperature was 40℃. The detection wavelength was 320 nm. The HPLC standard fingerprint of total flavonoids from pollen of Brassica campestrisL. was established, and 16 common peaks were calibrated. The method was simple, stable, and reproducible. It could be applied for quality control of total flavonoids from pollen of Brassica campestris L.

ABSTRACT

This article was aimed to investigate the cell proliferation , cell apoptosis and its related molecular mechanisms of the human gastric carcinoma cell line BGC-823 in v itro after treatment with cinnamaldehyde . The MTT Assay demonstrated the inhibitory effect of cinnamaldehyde . And the Flow Cytometry was used to determine its induction of cell apoptosis. The Hoechst 33342 was used to observe morphological changes during apoptosis . Moreover , quantitative real time PCR and western blot analysis were used to detect the effect of cinnamaldehyde on human gastric carcinoma cell line BGC-823 . The results showed that compared with the control group , cinnamaldehyde had inhibitory effect on human gastric carcinoma cell line BGC-823 ( P <0 . 01 ) . It showed that cinnamaldehyde induced apoptosis through the downregulation of Bcl-2 , Bcl-xL and Survivin expression , upregulation of Bax and Bak expression , downregulation of Bcl-2 and Procaspase-3 , and upregulation of BAX . It was concluded that cinnamaldehyde had inhibitory effect on the proliferation of human gastric carcinoma cell line BGC-823 and induced apoptosis . It may be related to the activation of the endogenous apoptosis pathway .
